"Evidencing a continuous process of transformation and development, my work reveals the profound faith in change as indispensable for sustained growth. Like in nature, change is constant, inevitable. A flower evolves from seed to plant, later dying and becoming the fertilizer which will give life to a new form.

Every transformation process unavoidably implies not only an unconditional surrender to change but also the maturity and courage to embrace the inherent pain involved; to counteract the inner struggle in order to achieve freedom and personal growth. It is definitely possible to break free from previous mental restrictions and walk a new path, in search for new ways of expressing feelings and representing experiences.

For me, this process involved experimenting not only with a brighter palette and a new concept of space but also with new techniques, moving away from mature figurative forms towards early attempts at abstraction.

I strongly believe that achieving a straight forward dialogue with the audience is fundamental. The move towards abstraction implies a change in communication codes. I warmly invite you to accept the challenge to explore your own feelings and reactions in a mutual search for personal growth."
